Working with Ruut Consulting, you can count on:
Kevin Terrien has over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate project management, development management, design and engineering, and facility relocation management for both owners and tenants. He is the principal and founder of Ruut Consulting.
Kevin has led major projects, both locally and internationally, including an 18-month assignment in South Africa. He’s worked with top-tier clients including Microsoft, Newmont , STARZ, Hogan Lovells, Deloitte, the United States Olympic Committee, Vail Resorts, and the Denver Chamber of Commerce. Kevin has also successfully represented real estate owners including pension funds, REITs, insurance companies and institutional investment firms on capital and tenant improvements of their commercial real estate investment properties.
During his tenure at Cushman & Wakefield, Kevin served as senior vice president and led the Project and Development Services team for the Colorado region. Prior to that Kevin worked for CBRE, a worldwide leader in real estate services, as their Managing Director.
Kevin lives in the Denver metro area.. Kevin believes in balancing work with play and enjoys snowboarding as well as surfing—a hobby that baffles most people since he lives far (far, far) from the beach. But Kevin is not one to let a challenge prevent him from reaching his goals, and he logs time on the waves every season.
Laci Hoskins has over ten years of experience in providing green building certification project management and sustainability consulting services within the commercial real estate sector. She is a senior project manager for Ruut Consulting.
In her previous role, Laci built CBRE’s sustainability consulting and certification management practice for design and construction projects and was one of three CBRE team members who acted as peer reviewers for the WELL Building Standard prior to its launch in 2014. She also participated in the USGBC committee, which developed the LEED ID+C v4 exam criteria.
Laci brings clients an in-depth understanding of the design and construction process as well as best practices for transitioning from construction to operations. She has managed over 3 million square feet of space pursuing certifications under LEED, Living Building Challenge, Green Globes, and WELL. Her background in project management includes a focus on integrating sustainability and employee health and wellness programs within the established budget and schedule parameters of each project.
Additionally, Laci is the founder of NovoSustainability, LLC, where she utilizes her expertise to guide clients through the process of marrying sustainable design and construction principles with employee health and wellness initiatives. She is dedicated to fulfilling the company’s vision of supporting a world where governments, corporations, organizations, and individuals live by three simple rules: to do no harm, to do good, and to actively engage with each other in our communities.
